The Role of the New Business Account Manager:

As our client base continues to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join the team as a New Business Account Manager (open to discussion). * The New Business Account Manager will play a key role in driving forward growth by managing and expanding our portfolio. This position requires a results-oriented individual with strong relationship-building skills to nurture some existing business and generate new opportunities within the packaging sector. Confidence in delivering presentations, effective prospecting, negotiation skills, and a service-driven mindset are essential for success in this role
Key Responsibilities of the New Business Account Manager:
* Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
* Generate new business by identifying and pursuing prospective clients.
* Deliver compelling presentations showcasing our clients’ products and services.
* Conduct effective prospecting through phone and face-to-face interactions.
* Negotiate pricing, quotations, and terms to secure new business deals.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
* Maintain a balance between sales and service-driven approaches.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
* Undertake presentations on client’s site to secure new business opportunities.
* Devise and develop sales strategies to increase revenue streams and pipeline.
The candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the packaging industry.
* Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to nurture and grow existing business.
* Confident in delivering presentations and engaging with clients at all levels.
* Effective prospecting skills, both over the phone and face to face.
* Negotiation skills with a focus on pricing and quotations.
* Results-driven with a commitment to achieving and exceeding targets.
* Service-oriented mindset with a dedication to customer satisfaction.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
