Quality Systems Engineer

Kidlington, Oxford

Our client is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of component parts and products across a variety of industries, making available the simple but essential things that support your business.

Central to our client’s success is their investment in staff, with attraction, training, development and retention, all at the heart of their staffing vision, so too the need to continually attract the very best people, our client currently looking to recruit a Quality Systems Engineer to join their already talented team.

The Role

As a Quality System Engineer, you will be a critical member of the Team and can partner with employees across the site to ensure the products have the highest level of quality that our client's customers expect. You will be responsible for coordinating the review of Quality procedures associated with operational continuous improvement initiatives and auditing functions which will include managing teams. In addition to being responsible for hosting/performing internal and external audits for customer and regulatory bodies, you will also lead management reviews and support risk assessments, continuous improvement activities, and drive associated actions to closure.

Skills and Attributes

ü Experience working with an IMS in a disciplined regulated industry and where Automotive experience is essential.

ü Experience in Reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system.

ü Experience in determining Quality metrics and establishing a system for tracking them.

ü Experience with implementing and/or managing a quality system that is ISO9001 / ISO14001 / ISO45001 and ISO50001 compliant is also required.
