We are seeking an immediately available Senior Contract Manager who is a well-rounded in public procurement and complex contract management, with strong stakeholder management skills and experience with conflict/conflict resolution.

This exciting hybrid role will be supporting a well known Defence organisation in Reading on a 12 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement the Supplier Relationship Management framework for assigned key suppliers
Support procurement activity through providing best practice contact advice to develop contract templates and bespoke terms.
Leading contract negotiations
Monitor and mitigate supplier risks
Ensure contract control systems are robust and suitable to support all post contract commitments and satisfying the reporting/governance processes.
Act as subject matter expert for assigned contracts, providing professional advice to enable business to effectively deliver contract objectives.Key Requirements:

Public procurement experience
Experience working in a highly regulated/specialised background, e.g., bio hazard, nuclear waste (desirable)
Complex contract experience
Strong stakeholder management skills
