Our client is a Tier 1 M&E contractor specializing in providing mechanical and electrical engineering services. They offer a range sectors including Data Centres, laboratories, healthcare and major commercial developments. They boast a turnover in the region of £250m in London as well as markets in mainland Europe. Their services encompass system design, installation, testing, maintenance, and energy optimization, helping clients achieve reliable, efficient, and sustainable mechanical and electrical systems.

Salary: £65,000 + Travel + Healthcare + Pension OR £350 per day

Project: Major Projects Team (London) - Commercial, Data Centres and Healthcare

My client are urgently on the market for a HV/LV Authorised Person to join their major projects team, this will mean you are based on a major project either a commercial new build or a healthcare project. If you are looking for an immediate start please drop me a call.

Role/Responsibilities:

* Ensure Health, Safety & Environmental compliance during all site activities.

* Supervise contractors and sub-contractors during site operations.

* Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s Electrical Safety Rules.

* Conduct planned and unplanned inspections of offshore and onshore assets.

* Support the development of the company’s asset and maintenance policy.

* Perform HV Switching as an Authorised Person.

* Carry out minor fault finding and electrical installation work.

* Assist in the development of contingency plans.

* Provide weekly and monthly reports to the supervisor

The ideal candidate:

* HV/LV tickets

* 18th Edition

* Experience working on Data Centre or Critical Environment Projects

* Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2M

* A minimum 2 years’ experience in an engineering role

* The candidate will show longevity in previous employment
