About the role:

As a SEN-TA (Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist), you will play a crucial role in supporting students with ASD, focusing on those who are non-verbal, across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support and guidance to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly those who are non-verbal.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.

• Passion, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored assistance to non-verbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their individual needs.

• Foster the growth of communication and social skills through structured activities and supportive interactions, using visual aids and social stories.

• Implement positive behavior strategies, collaborate on behavior plans, and offer emotional support to help students manage their emotions and behavior effectively.
