About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join our enthusiastic team. This role is integral to supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students. The position is full-time, reflecting our commitment to providing consistent support and stability within the classroom environment.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of educators who are driven by a shared passion for student success. Whether you are looking to make a difference through supporting SEN students in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and well-being of our school community.
Application Requirements:
• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• A proactive approach to supporting individual learning needs and behavior management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEN students with ASD, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
