Summary:
This role is primarily responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks under supervision at the clients Teesside facility.
Responsibilities:
Perform assigned aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks.
Accurately record all work performed on the appropriate maintenance records such as work sheets / task cards.
Comply with procedures detailed within the Maintenance Organization Expositions and any associated documentation.
Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and COSHH requirements.
When not assigned to aircraft work, fully utilize available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.
Perform any additional duties or tasks as directed by the Base Maintenance Manager.
Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Aeronautical apprenticeship or recognised national qualification in aircraft maintenance.
Minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience.
Be able to demonstrate an organised approach to daily job tasks.
Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks.
Knowledge of maintenance standards.
Knowledge and ability to use aircraft maintenance data.
Initial Human Factors (HF) training.
Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training.
Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) training.
English Language proficiency (Written & Spoken).
