About the Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and skilled aircraft mechanic capable of performing a range of detailed maintenance activities on aircraft or aircraft components within a base maintenance environment. A strong understanding of approved technical information and the ability to work independently according to approved data, maintenance instructions, and to the companies Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) is required.
 
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, the candidate will undertake and complete scheduled maintenance and diagnostic activities on aircraft. This may include Aircraft Ground Handling, component removals/replacements/installations, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, and functional/system testing.
Demonstrating a flexible and proactive attitude in carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the role and taking direction as needed.
Ensuring that maintenance is completed on schedule and resolving any issues, escalating as required. Expectations:
Performance Indicators: Ensuring the effective provision of maintenance activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting any impact on Continuing Airworthiness. Understanding how individual actions contribute to overall delivery performance.
Completion of Activities: Ensuring all maintenance activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT/paper-based). Compiling required reports, identifying any issues, and escalating as appropriate.
Procedures/Standards: Complying with the MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards, as applicable. Identifying and proposing changes as required.
Safety Management System: Applying Human Factors and Error Management philosophies to all maintenance activities. Understanding the risks associated with maintenance work and the means by which they are mitigated and managed.
Management System Assurance: Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Aviation Safety and Compliance Manual, including supporting Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits. Supporting the implementation of identified improvements to overcome any non-compliance and monitoring effectiveness.
Statutory/Regulatory & Legislative Requirements: Demonstrating an appropriate level of understanding and application of the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework. Supporting the implementation of any regulatory-driven changes into the maintenance activities.
Contractual Requirements: Ensuring compliance with applicable contractual requirements. Requirements:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in an Aircraft Maintenance discipline.
At least 3 years of experience on aircraft in a base or line maintenance environment (preferred)  Preferred Qualifications:
Over 5 years of experience on aircraft within a civilian base or line maintenance environment (preferable) 
Experience with King Air 90/200/300 and Diamond DA42/62 (preferable, other types will be considered)
Human Factors Training (preferable)
Full right to live & work in the UK (essential) Compensation and Benefits: 
£35,000 per annum.
Based on site in Nottinghamshire.
