Requirements:
Diploma or degree in social work, CQSW, CSS or equivalent, and registration with Social Work England
Strong emotional intelligence and analytical skills to handle challenging social and family situations
Proficiency in using information technology and related systems
Car driver
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide short-term interventions for children in need and their families
Handle child protection enquiries and work collaboratively with the police and partner agencies
Manage a caseload, achieving positive change and improved outcomes for children
Utilize social work knowledge and emotional intelligence to make confident decisions
Maintain accurate records using social work case recording systems
Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals to provide effective social work interventions
Promote the development and well-being of children, young people, and their families
Facilitate permanency planning for children in care and ensure their safety and welfare
