Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Pay rate: £20.30 per hour inc. shift allowance
Location: Corsham
Type: 6-month Contract
Hours: DAYS 4 on 4 off

Our client, based in Corsham, are world leaders in rail braking systems for various blue-chip clients globally, and due to a busy orderbook they are looking to recruit an experienced Machine Operator on a contract basis.

This role will see you adopt a proactive approach to the setting and operating of CNC Machines and ensure continuity with other Machinists.

Duties required:

Set, load and operate CNC Machines
Ensure all tooling, fixtures and gauges are to correct spec
Interpret engineered drawings and standard operating procedures
Follow QA, Inspection procedures and control plans
Competent in the use of measuring equipment
Ensure Machining and finishing activities are performed to the highest levelPerson specification:

Proven knowledge and experience in setting and operations of CNC Machinery
Experience in use of Verniers, micrometres and DTI.
Offer flexibility to support in additional roles if required
Must be able to work under pressure and have ability to prioritise
Must be computer literate.
This position will see you working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation, working on Days 7:00am - 7:00pm

Proven CNC setting and operating, with a manual hands-on approach will work to your advantage. You will be expected to work well under pressure, individually and as a team.

A highly motivated and process driven individual will work well in this role, who is passionate for quality and shows great attention to detail.
