My client is established in the mechanical repair business. They manufacture components and tools, carry out repairs and provide site-support. Due to increasing demand, they are looking to expand their field team with a Manual. The successful Candidate will have experience repairing heavy plant machinery. You must also have a Driving Licence and be happy to travel throughout the UK.

Manual Machinist Position Overview

Using manual lathes, turning and milling machines
Producing metal components for machinery repairs
Keeping a clean and tidy workshop

Manual Machinist Position Requirements

Must have experience in a manual machinist role, working with metals
Experience using a manual lathe and with turning and milling machines
Any mechanical fitting experience is beneficial
Based within commutable distance of Ormskirk

Manual Machinist Position Remuneration

Hourly rate £14.00 - £19.00 depending on experience
Overtime available paid at 1.5x
Company social events
Hours Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 16:00 + optional weekend overtime
Staff canteen
Holiday 20 days plus Bank Holidays
Pension
