Company Overview
Our client is a well-established entity in the mechanical repair sector, specializing in the production of components and tools, as well as providing repair services and on-site support.

Position Summary
Due to a surge in demand, there is an opportunity to join the team as a Manual Machinist. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the repair of heavy machinery and must hold a valid Driving Licence, with a willingness to travel across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes, turning machines, and milling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Position Requirements
- Proven experience in a manual machinist role, particularly with metalworking.
- Familiarity with manual lathes and proficiency in turning and milling operations.
- Mechanical fitting experience is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate starting at £14.00, commensurate with experience.
- Overtime opportunities available, compensated at 1.5 times the standard rate.
- Company social events.
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00, and Friday from 08:00 to 16:00, with optional weekend overtime.
- Holiday entitlement of 20 days plus Bank Holidays.
- Pension scheme.
