Sales Support

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our sales team based in Shrewsbury.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to our sales department, assisting in the smooth execution of sales activities and ensuring excellent customer service.
We work a full-time week, compressed into 4 days / 36 hours per week, between Monday to Friday.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the sales team in managing customer enquiries, orders, and requests promptly and efficiently.
Prepare and process sales orders accurately, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and communicated effectively.
Responsible for New Account activation and product set up
Providing product and Service information including prices to potential customers
Maintain and update customer databases and sales records regularly to ensure accurate and up-to-date information, including calls to current client base on a monthly basis
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to support the sales team in maintaining a competitive edge.
Assist in the implementation of sales campaigns, promotions, and other initiatives to drive revenue growth, such as liaising with social media team with content for mail mergers, posts, Sales packs, sample kits and leaflets
Undertake sales prospecting calls
Adhoc task as requested by management
Skills Requirements:
Good telephone communication
Previous sales experience
Ability to work on own initiative
Work as part of a busy team
