Responsibilities:

Preparation and Setup:
Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of data centre equipment (racks, hard drives, switches) following specific instructions, checklists, and standard protocols.
Ensure proper grounding, labeling, and cabling according to safety protocols and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs).
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:
Quickly identify and troubleshoot hardware issues using standard procedures.
Replace faulty components as needed.
Decommissioning:
Decommission hardware for simple changes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) following established procedures.
Communication and Reporting:
Follow procedures to communicate incidents and escalate issues to Datacenter Technician Leads.
Collaborate effectively with team members.Requirements:

Knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
1+ year(s) experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.
