Sales Surveyor

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Surveyor to join our team in Cumbria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire and security sales, with a focus on life safety systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. This role will involve project sales ranging from £10,000 to £1,000,000 and will require a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine client requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities
Collaborate with the sales team to create project proposals and estimates
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations
Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
Qualifications
Proven experience in fire and security sales, including project sales and new business development
Strong knowledge of life safety systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
Familiarity with British Standards and other relevant industry regulations
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Cumbria area
Relevant industry certifications or qualifications are desirable
Day-to-day
Conducting site surveys and assessments
Building and maintaining client relationships
Collaborating with the sales team to create project proposals
Staying updated on industry standards and trends
Providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
