Early Years TA, Child Care Level 3 Qualified, South Bristol, £12.86 - £15.00 per hour, temporary. Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an EYFS TA to work in a local primary school in Bristol starting in September 2024.

About the role

The role
The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will be able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils, promote their learning and academic progress, and support children with special educational needs. You may be tasked with running small group interventions to support children or working on a 1:1 basis to ensure the needs of pupils are met and that they can thrive. The ideal Learning Support Assistant for Early Years will be proactive, flexible, patient and be highly motivated to help children reach their full potential.

The school
The local primary school in South Bristol with nursery classes welcomes a diverse range of pupils and is seeking a caring and supportive TA who is proactive, reliable and adapts their support to meet the needs of children. The TA should be confident at communicating with children and helping them make the right choices. The school has high standards and expectations of their pupils and prioritises creating a supportive environment for both staff and students.

Requirements
To be considered for the EY TA position, you will:

Have a Child Care Level 3 Qualification or higher
Have experience working with children and babies in nurseries or primary school settings
Be passionate about helping children grow and develop
Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is

to hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce)
