About the Role:
As a Special Education needs Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs within the school in Christchurch. You will deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student, fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. With your expertise in SEN education, you will empower students to reach their full potential and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN
Provide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal development
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN
Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education
Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting
Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers
Dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education
