Nursery Practitioner

We have a warm and inviting day nursery setting in the heart of the community seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their fabulous nursery, based close to local transport links and which has parking on site.

Their rooms are light, spacious and well resourced, where they support and ignite a love of learning, exploration and discovery. They have a long standing team who offer a warm, friendly, and inclusive environment where children to flourish.

You would be joining a team of Early Years practitioners with a wealth of experience in providing quality care and education. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will contribute to creating a positive and enriching environment for children's growth and development. You will be responsible for implementing engaging activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

Deliver interesting and mindful learning sessions for the children that are appropriate to their stage of development, and maintain a nurturing inclusive environment
Build positive partnerships with parents and carers with thorough handovers on daily collection
Observe, support and extend children’s development, updating the children’s learning journals in detail
Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and engaging environmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
Previous experience of working in a nursery setting
Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for children
