The Grid Automation (GA) Senior Product Manager - Cybersecurity Services, has:

An effective go-to-market strategy, while establishing a balanced strategy for the delivery of cybersecurity services ideally through GA internal resources, or selectively via our external technology partners.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own the cybersecurity services strategy for Grid Automation

- Stay connected with the market dynamics, engage with GA customers to understand their cybersecurity services needs and translate them into new cybersecurity services requirements.

- Develop differentiated cybersecurity global services offerings.

- Manage 3rd-party partnerships with selective cybersecurity vendors to provide cybersecurity services to our customers and to expand the business reach.

- Develop value propositions, market assessments, competitive analysis, business cases, requirement’s documents, and innovative business models for the cybersecurity services offerings.

- Understand competitors’ offerings, industry trends, customers’ behavior.

- Run detailed customer business model analysis, determine customers’ critical KPIs, and use data to develop competitive offerings.

- Promote the offerings with utility and industrial customers and sales organisations globally.

- Develop, in collaboration with the regional commercial teams, the growth plans and offerings roadmap based on customer specific needs.

- Drive productive interactions with GA region teams, other GA Product Managers, R&D and product development, Technical Application Engineering, and Commercial teams.

- Develop, coach, and mentor the regional cybersecurity delivery teams (customer engineers) to strengthen the overall technical and business capabilities.

- Develop and conduct training on a variety of cybersecurity topics for the Regions and GA staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.

- Business Administration degree would be an asset (e.g., MBA).

- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role.

- In depth product management experience in OT cybersecurity – ideally services offerings.

- Demonstrated experience in the energy sector, especially in the industrial protection and control / automation, or service fields.

- Knowledge of many types of cybersecurity services and how to package them for customer consumption.

- Experience working with a variety of different types of Channel Partners.

- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems including user account management, security / system hardening & device control, and patch management.

Familiarity with LDAP, RADIUS, TLS, SSH, SFTP, RSA, HTTPS, NERC-CIP, NIST, IEC62443, IEC62351 standards, cyber asset protection regulations and standards, and communication protocols like IEC61850, DNP, IEC(phone number removed)-104 – affecting the utilities industry.

Experience with threat modeling techniques and tools.

An excellent customer service mindset.

Experience with operating systems like Microsoft Windows, Linux, and VxWorks.

Good writing and oral communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.

Experience with Box, OneDrive, Smartsheet, Adobe, Tableau, and SFDC.

Willingness and the ability to participate in video meetings that occasionally happen early in the morning, or later in the evening.

Willingness and ability to travel - approximately 30%.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

- Ability to work comfortably in a global organization and with people from many different cultures and backgrounds.

- Bi-lingual or multilingual is highly desired, and a huge plus.

- Ability to interface with, and influence all levels of the customer’s organisation, as well as other internal GE Vernova functions, and be able to converse in detail about a broad amount of cybersecurity matters.

- A good handle on where the cybersecurity industry is headed, and when.

- Excellent business and financial acumen and commercial savvy within an operating background.

- Exceptional customer service and entrepreneurial mindset.

- Solid oral and written communication skills.

- Interpersonal and leadership skills.

- A valued team player with a desire to go the extra mile when needed.
