Are you organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our client's team in Chelmsford, Essex. As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hire department. With their continued growth, our client is looking for a dedicated individual who can efficiently complete administrative tasks, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a tidy workplace.
Key Duties:
Ensure all hires are prepared and ready for timely delivery
Complete and file all hire paperwork accurately
Plan the driver's day and ensure prompt departure each morning
Verify invoice details, including dates, amounts, and delivery charges
Arrange collection of returning hires and off-hire them efficiently
Clean and store hire equipment properly, maintaining high standards
Log damaged, lost, and faulty equipment with the correct paperwork
Accurately pick and box all hires
Complete changeovers within allocated timeframes
Keep the workplace clean and tidy at all times
Organise your day and prioritise your workload effectively
Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Previous experience in a hire/leasing environment
Ability to use computerised systems for data entry
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Accurate and efficient typing skills
Excellent communication skills
