Vision for Education are recruiting for an outstanding, experienced English Teacher for a secondary school based in Lancaster starting September 2024.

About the role

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level. The role is due to commence from September 2024. This is a full time position for the full academic year, with the potential to transfer onto a permanent contract with the school from February 2025.

The school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

The school
The school based in Lancaster is a large mainstream secondary and last graded as ‘Good' school which has high standards and targets for its students to strive for. It expects the best provision for the children under its care and is led by an experienced Senior team who support their staff in all aspects of the job. The School offers excellent CPD and also provides a range of opportunities for progression within the role and the School.

The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for the English Teacher role you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Be adaptable and flexible
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
