Job Description:

* Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function for groundworks and civils projects

* Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets

* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments

* Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual requirements

* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project deliver

Key Responsibilities:

* Performing risk, value management, and cost control

* Analyzing and preparing detailed reports, proposals, and cost estimates

* Collaborating with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success

* Identifying potential issues and developing solutions to mitigate risk

* Implementing and monitoring contractual procedures and financial control systems

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role within the Groundworks side of the industry

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and cost estimation

* Proficiency in measuring and valuing construction work

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, CCS, or other cost estimation packages)
