We are currently recruiting a Maintenance assistant for our prestigious client based in London Luton Airport area.

Main duties will be to:
Ensuring the home is maintained as a safe and secure place to live for the residents.
Maintaining the home and grounds to ensure they are in excellent condition at all times.
Work closely with the home managers on long term maintenance plans
Check and repair fixtures and fittings that may include lighting and heating

The safety and security of our residents is at the forefront of what we do, so by ensuring the home is safe and properly maintained is of utmost importance. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do, with a friendly and outgoing nature and who really wants to make a difference in our service users lives.

Essential Desirable
Experience D1 or equivalent First aid at work certificate or willingness to learn

Experience of Health & Safety procedures or willingness to learn

Have a full clean driving licence

Previous experience in a similar role
Skills The ability to carry out tasks without Experience of working within a school close supervision environment

Enthusiastic, approachable and a team player

Good verbal communication & interpersonal skills

Hard working, conscientious with a good sense of humour

Good IT skills in Outlook, Word and
Excel

Ability to identify, prioritise and deal with issues as they occur

Knowledge Good knowledge of both Maths &
English

Behaviour Skills Be willing to work outside of normal hours if required

Be willing to undertake further training

A commitment to provide a high standard of support

Enjoy working with students and other adults
