Enpure Ltd are a progressive organisation in water and wastewater services and are looking to recruit a capable, self-motivated, and engaging Project Scheduler for a permanant position based at Rubery Head Office (B45 9PZ).

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for tracking, maintaining and reporting the project schedule across the lifecycle of the project.

Advising the project stakeholders on system and labour requirements to effectively satisfy company and contractual planning and cost obligations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Provide input into maintaining project templates per project classification within the company software.

Support stakeholders with progress tracking.

Control project schedules through good planning practices.

Perform planning governance responsibilities ensuring the project schedules are an accurate depiction of the project scope, time and cost.

Assign roles and resources to project schedules to support adequate resource planning.

Maintain the scheduled cost rates in OPC.

Update costs and activity progress.

Manage the critical path.

Prepare CL32 programmes and client reporting.

Co-ordinate the risk register and reporting.

Conduct Time risk allowances during project phase execution.

Manage baselines for reporting and earned value analysis.

Support the Project manager with necessary RAID logs.

Maintain OPC work packages and scope assignments.

Assure the scope assignments and governance waivers.

Conduct planning requirements in respect of change orders and change requests.

To identify opportunity and risk during the programming process, and to ensure early warning systems exist on individual projects for schedule deviations to be notified at the earliest possible time for remedial action by Project Management.

To ensure allocated tenders and projects are planned to meet milestones and cost targets.

To attend project meetings as required, leading on planning issues with Engineering and Construction teams.

Comply with any planning arrangement in partnership contracts.

To maintain effective liaison between site operations and office planning activities, attending sites as and when required.

To use effectively all software, techniques and equipment as assigned to individual proposals and projects.

To assist in developing and modifying project planning techniques, with the objective of improving the Project Managers’ ability to control the project programme costs and to manage resources to meet contractual deadlines.

To comply with all Health and Safety responsibilities commensurate with the role, as outlined in the Health and Safety policy.

Any other duties commensurate with the position as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

A formal qualification (HNC or equivalent or above) in a relevant discipline

A degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline

Proven experience in project scheduling and good planning practices.

Practical demonstrable experience commensurate to the level of the role within the water/wastewater industry or construction sector

Proficient in the use of P6 with proven ability to import and export from the same, and experience of P6 coding.

Experience of working on NEC forms of contract.

IT literate with an ability to use a wide range of IT packages including Microsoft Office
