Senior Design Engineer / Technical Manager

A leading manufacture require a Senior Design Engineer / Technical Manager to manage a team of Designers and manufacturing staff. You will be involved in Cad, Cam, Nesting and Injection Moulding. This is an ideal opportunity for a Design Engineer or a Product Manager looking to make a step up into management.

An ideal role for you if you are designing the same products day in day out with no changes. Why? Well this is a cutting edge and innovative manufacture so a passion for design coupled with artistic flair and technical knowledge is ideal.

How much of the role is management?

About 60%

This will include administration, dealing with 8 staff and being hands on with all requests from customers

What else will I be doing?

You’ll be office based most of the week. 1 Day a week will be from home with scope to be more for those moments you need to get your head down.

The Factory is going to a 4-day week shortly.
