A lovely 2-form-entry primary school in Wandsworth are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to provide Intervention support within Year 4, 2/3 days per week.

The Role

As an Intervention Teacher, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing the specific learning needs of students, ensuring they receive the tailored support required to reach their full potential.

You will join a lovely team and lead targeted intervention programs for students who require additional support in key areas of their learning. Working closely with classroom teachers, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other support staff, you will design and deliver effective interventions to help students overcome barriers to learning and make progress academically, socially, and emotionally. You will also be required to provide class cover across Yr4 when required.

This very popular catholic primary school is based in Wandsworth close to Roehampton. The school is rated 'good' by Ofsted and is a popular choice for parents. Children in the school make good progress whilst at the school and results at both KS1 and KS2 are consistently above average. Pupil's behaviour is excellent across the school and the leadership team ensure that staff, pupils and parents work closely together to enable pupils to make progress academically and socially. Prayer and worship are central to the life of the school and within the Catholic Christian ethos children are able to develop their spiritual and moral understanding.

Have QTS and have completed induction/ECT

Experience teaching in KS2

Have the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
