Company Description:

A growing manufacturer is looking to recruit a Graduate Project Engineer to join their team to manage projects from concept through to production.

Responsibilities as Graduate Project Engineer:

* Design and develop injection moulded products according to customer specifications

* Working on a variety of bespoke projects cradle to grave mitigating risks to OTIF delivery

* Complete design changes (ECR’s) in line with processes

* Participate in design review meetings and suggesting improvements

* Working with suppliers/toolmakers to identify solutions to problems.

* Generate BOM’s

* Travel to customers (located globally) on occasion to discuss and understand requirements

Skills and Experience as Graduate Project Engineer:

* Degree in an Engineering discipline

* Use of 3D CAD packages, for example, Solidworks, NX

* Knowledge AND/OR experience of injection moulding (gained from Degree studies OR placement)

* Able to communicate technical data to non-technical people

* Knowledge of Design for manufacture

* Knowledge of FMEA

* Ability to conceptualise, design and verify product to customer specifications

* Knowledge of six-sigma/LEAN principles

* Understanding of GD&T

This position is commutable from:

* Somercotes, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham, Derby
