Warehouse Supervisor

I have started working on a new role with a reputable Engineering business in the Accrington area and am looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.
Business Overview:
An incredibly established Manufacturing/Engineering business on a fantastic site with an incredible range of bespoke products in their portfolio, some of which are really taking the market by storm.
The business are very stable but are constantly striving to improve and grow which sees them develop new and innovative products annually to offer to their growing customer base.
Job Overview: Warehouse Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, training and coaching on warehouse procedures, standards and responsibilities through motivation and effective metrics and monitoring.
* To be responsible to maintain a clean organised and safe environment throughout the warehouse.
* Assure H&S and quality standards are maintained to the highest levels.
* Maintaining inventory counts and conduct stock cycle counts as needed.
* Able to identify, plan and communicate areas for improvement within the warehouse.
* Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
* Constant review of the processes and systems linking the warehouse and other departments with the objective of enhancing operational efficiencies.
* Adhere to all QMS requirements, company policies, procedures and business ethics also ensuring that these are communicated and followed in all warehouse operations.
* Responsible for the use and care of the company van. Including planning of local collections and deliveries.
Key Requirements:
* Effective communication skills
* Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
* Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
* A positive “can-do” attitude, who acts with integrity and respect as a team player and a self-starter
* Computer literacy required and experience with ERP and warehouse management systems preferred
* A current fork lift truck driving licence for both counter balance and reach trucks is desirable.

This role will pay £33k-£35k, working hours will be Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-3:30pm.
