Our client seeks a highly skilled Contract Deputy Programme Manager to join their team for an initial 8 months engagement. You'll be a key player, with the delivery of the Banner Stabilisation project along with providing frameworks, R&R, Workscope documents and BBMG Prioritisation outputs.
Responsibilities:
The project will be split into 2 phases:
1st August - 31st of December 2024 (Programme Set up)

Delivery of Banner Stabilisation 'Moth ball' activities to closure and lessons learnedOutputs- Closure Document

Lead the programme set-up activities with a specific focus on design, test strategy, change life-cycle and student life cycle alignment
Develop work stream scope for De-customisation & HESA Reporting
Enable the prioritisation activities for BBMGOutputs- PMO delivered framework, R&R, Plans, Work scope documents, BBMG Prioritisation outputs
1st January - 1st April 2025 (Programme Delivery Support)

Set up work stream readiness for delivery
Create aligned programme delivery plan
Embed new strategies developed above
Output- KPI output on delivery efficiency in the first 4 monthsKnowledge and Experience

Experience of HE technical delivery
Significant Programme and Project Leadership experience
In-depth knowledge of programme and project management methods and principles
Exceptional leadership and organisational skills
In-depth understanding of performance evaluation principles
Proficiency in various programme management software, including MS Office, MS Project and Basecamp
Ability to manage a team and stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
