About the role: This is a unique opportunity for a passionate KS2 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Barnet. As a key member of the teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire and challenge pupils to reach their full potential. You will be supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant and have access to excellent resources to enhance your teaching. The role is full-time, starting in September 2024, and offers a competitive daily rate of £160-£210.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching KS2.
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons for KS2 pupils.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other staff to support all pupils.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and extra-curricular activities.
• Contribute to the school’s ethos and values, promoting respect and inclusion.
• Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and ongoing CPD.
