Experienced Print Operator / Finisher, Print on Demand – City of London
Dynamically expanding City of London based Print Bureau, seek a dynamic and motivated individual with comprehensive Digital or Litho Print Production & Finishing skills, to lead the evolution of their Production unit.
Working with the Client facing Business owner, you must have acquired a wide array of practical print and print finishing capabilities, formed within in a fast-paced, high quality, reprographics and digital/litho print environment, ideally with some artworking/pre press experience/understanding too, as the role demands a full 360 production capability.
General Duties:
* Full management of a busy print room environment
* Production and print finishing of Client jobs, such as booklets, brochures, flyers, business cards, posters and projects of this nature
* Maintaining stock and consumable levels
* Working dynamically in a small, emerging team
Key requirements:
* Minimum of 3 year’s practical Print Production experience
* Full working knowledge of Fiery Command Workstation
* Experience of working with Xerox equipment (ideally Iridesse) or similar
* Experience running crease/folding machines, booklet making, wire binding and guillotine machines
* Good knowledge with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
* Disciplined ability to deliver Client projects without supervision
* Good attention to detail, ensuring the highest standard of final product is delivered
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with InDesign and Illustrator - preferable but not essential
* Large format experience - preferable but not essential
Critically, you’ll be naturally enthusiastic, confident & communicative with the personality to interact very effectively with Clients, as the Business manages a significant array of incoming enquiries and customer requests, consistently delivering an outstanding service and maximising the ongoing Sales opportunities.
Possessing a demonstrable Print industry exposure and the aspiration to be part of a growing enterprise, you will bring practical Print Production & Finishing insight and intelligence to a dynamically expanding operation, that will simultaneously develop & reward your commitment and contribution, working within a driven, fluid and culturally positive Business environment.
