Are you someone who has aspirational beliefs for all children? Are you able to able to demonstrate strategies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs?

LTF Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to take on this exciting role, partnered with one of our SEND schools based in Newark-On-Trent. This person will play a crucial role in supporting the educational needs and personal development of all pupils. This role is long-term with the potential to be permanent subject to a successful trial period.

Roles and responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, making sure they have equal opportunities to progress.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional well-being of all pupils.
Building relationships with children's parents to ensure ongoing development and make parents aware of the student's progress.
Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
Effectively utilise available resources, materials, and technology to enhance the learning experience for students.
Strong communication and verbal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
