With on-the-job training, flexible working hours, and a safe work environment, you get to pick and choose when you work.
Responsibilities
Support Children and Families:
Provide mentoring and assistance with daily routines.
Help families and young people navigate challenges.
Conduct supervised contact and hospital support.
Varied Support Roles:
Engage in activities to build young people's confidence.
Assist in maintaining the safety of children and young people.
Flexibility and Adaptability:
Choose shifts that fit your schedule.
Travel around the community to provide support.
Collaborate and Communicate:
Work with a team to ensure the well-being of children and families.
Provide feedback and reports on support activities.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in support work (preferred).
Experience with children (preferred).
Education:
GCSE/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (essential).
Certifications:
Safeguarding Level 2 (essential).
Enhanced DBS (required).
Licenses:
Driving Licence and access to a car preferred.
Skills:
Ability to work night shifts and weekends.
Kind, compassionate, and able to challenge when necessary.
Resilient, adaptable, and a team player.
