Empowering Learning are working in partnership with one of our alternate provision schools based in Leicester. The school are looking to appoint 2 x teaching assistants to support with behaviour onto permanent contracts. School based experience is preferred but not essential. The school are looking for people who:
Have a resilient attitude
Can build relationships with children with challenging behaviours
Will help to engage pupils within lessons
Can act as a positive role model to the children
Possess an empathy towards pupils from challenging backgrounds The main duties within the role will be:
Supporting students on a 1:1 basis
Leading academic sessions around maths and English
Liaising with senior staff in school around progress of the children
De-escalating situations where challenging behaviour has arisenThis role will be full time and permanent and salary will be between £20,500 and £23,500 dependent upon experience and qualifications. A driving license is essential to this role
