Reporting to the VP of Design Management, this role leads the Mechanical discipline within the EMEA Design & Delivery function, focusing on quality, technical evolution, and the operation of standardised products. The role requires innovation to maintain market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and assist with Mechanical specifications and equipment selection.
Assist with plant equipment standardisation and vendor selection.
Provide strategic direction for custom projects.
Review Mechanical deliverable for technical accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate on client-related design changes affecting the basis of design.
Foster strong relationships with other departments.
Contribute to reference design updates and improvements.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience managing design consultants.
In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure design and construction.
Proficiency in software like MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
Excellent communication, organisational, and presentation skills.
Confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.Job Details:
Remote and on-site work.
