Production Technician

Location: Stanley

Salary £27,500 per annum

Hours: 3 shift rotation: 6am–2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am

A long-established business is looking for an experienced Production Technician to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.

The Job:

* Repairing of equipment, tooling and machines

* Identifying preventative maintenance requirements

* Performing safety checks on machines

* Informal training of new Technicians

* Machine changeovers

* Occasional operator duties such as packing and boxing

What you will bring to the team:

* Time Served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or NVQ level 3

* Technical fault-finding skills

* Able to read engineering drawings,

* Ability to use measuring equipment

* Able to complete technical reports

* Understanding mechanical engineering
