Position: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant Location: Huyton, Liverpool Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only Salary: Per hour, from £12.90 

About the Role: As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of primary school pupils (ages 4 - 11 years). You will work closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to children with varying needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in an educational setting, enhancing your understanding of child psychology and behavioral management.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
Support teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Help manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
Work with children with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they receive the support required.
Monitor and report on students' progress to teachers and parents.
Requirements:

A degree in Psychology or a related field.
A genuine interest in working with children and enhancing their educational experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
