This is a fully office based role based in Weybridge, Surrey. (However, there is scope for some home working once you are established)

Description

Assistant Accountant (Service Charge - Commercial):

As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial management of service charge accounts within a fast-paced environment while upholding compliance with financial regulations as well.

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing and maintaining service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RICS regulations

· Prepare and review service charge budgets

· Producing client statements and any additional reports required

· VAT reporting

· Collaborate with property management team to resolve accounts queries

· Liaise with external accountants on production of year end accounts where necessary

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant (Service Charge - Commercial should have:

A strong educational background in accounting or finance.
MUST HAVE - COMMERCIAL SERVICE CHARGE experience / Commercial Property Management Accounts
'RICS' (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) knowledge is highly desirable
Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
An understanding of relevant industry regulations.Job Offer
