About the role:

Join our team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), starting as soon as possible for a long-term opportunity. This role is full-time and comes with the exciting prospect of stepping into a vibrant educational community. You'll be filling a vacancy left by a valued team member, ensuring continuity and excellence in our student support network.

Our interview process is friendly and straightforward, involving a face-to-face meeting and observation session to get to know you better. In this role, you'll be an integral part of our classroom environment, supporting both students and teachers in their educational journey.

Application Requirements:

• A background in education or previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.

• While formal qualifications aren't always mandatory, a relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with students, teachers, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering lessons by preparing resources, supervising activities, and providing one-on-one or small group assistance to students as needed.

• Take the lead in facilitating small group activities or interventions, ensuring that all students receive personalised support tailored to their individual needs.

• Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, assessment preparation, and maintaining a tidy and organised classroom environment, allowing teachers to focus on teaching and learning.
