Role Overview

My clients is a leading engineering and manufacturing firm based in Wolverhampton, specialising in the aerospace/ defence sector. They are currently seeking an assembly technician with experience as a fitter/tester to join the global sustentation team. The role involves assembling complex mechanical products and diagnosing hardware devices or equipment to ensure their proper functioning.

Key Responsibilities – Assembly Technician

Identifying faults in components controlling various systems such as flight control, landing, and engine systems.
Build and repair hydraulic products to meet quality standards.
Assembling components according to engineering drawings.
Inspect component parts using measuring equipment like Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, and Height Gauges.
Qualifications & Requirements – Assembly Technician

Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Understanding of assembly or testing processes in manufacturing.
Experience in a repair- oriented industry environment.
Demonstrates versatility and fosters a positive atmosphere.
