Landscaping Contract Manager

My client, a family run business who specialise in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces within the community, have ambitious plans to grow the company further and are looking to add a LandscapingContract Manager to the Senior Management Team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will manage the Landscaping teams, liaising with a wide range of clients, including local authorities, private housing developers and education providers.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Landscaping Contract Manager:

Handling initial enquiries, arranging and attending Client Site Visits/Surveys
Managing the project to ensure that it stays on budget and is completed within the allotted time frame
Ensuring the client remains fully updated throughout the project
Overseeing the recruitment and development of your team
Supporting the directors to grow the department and wider business 
Required Skills and Qualifications of the Landscaping Contract Manager:

Horticultural knowledge at degree or equivalent level is desirable
Prior experience of carrying out a similar role
First class communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other third party stakeholders/contractors
Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
The desire and ability to help grow the division and wider business through proactive business development and networking
