Role Overview:  We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our dedicated team. As an TA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and other staff members, you will provide tailored assistance to students, both individually and in groups, to enhance their educational experience and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with lesson delivery, help prepare materials, and guide students through classroom activities.
Offer targeted support to students who need extra help, including tutoring and reinforcing concepts.
Observe and record students’ performance, behavior, and progress, and provide feedback to the teacher.
Help maintain a positive and organized learning environment, manage classroom behavior, and enforce rules.
Prepare teaching materials, grade assignments, maintain student records, and organize classroom resources.
 Requirements:

Possess a Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3).

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
 Knowledge of relevant curriculum frameworks and educational strategies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
 Commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality in education.
 Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and relevant safeguarding training.
Teaching Assistant (TA) for a primary school.
