We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Technology (Hospitality & Catering or Design Technology) to join a fantastic secondary school in Norwich. Recognised as ‘good’ in all categories by Ofsted in May 2023, our school is committed to providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment for both staff and students. The successful candidate will join our Design and Technology department, teaching a technology subject at KS3 and either Hospitality and Catering or Design Technology at KS4. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with initiative and enthusiasm for learning, and experience teaching at least one of these subjects.

What will you be doing?

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Technology subjects at KS3 and KS4.

* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire students.

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.

* Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements:

* Relevant educational qualifications and a passion for teaching Technology subjects.

* Experience in working with young people.

* Strong communication and organizational skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.

* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

* (Desirable) Experience teaching Hospitality and Catering or Design Technology.
