Position Overview:
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Our client is looking for an Behaviour Support Worker to work within their SEMH setting, providing crucial support to students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs, tailored to their individual requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised intervention plans.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
- Act as a positive role model and mentor for students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students in a SEMH setting is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An understanding of SEMH challenges and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
