Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that address the unique barriers to learning faced by each pupil.

- Provide consistent and patient guidance, helping pupils manage their behavioural, emotional, and academic challenges.

- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

- Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with pupils who have additional needs or face barriers to learning.

- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training).

- A strong understanding of how to engage and motivate pupils with challenging behaviours or mental health concerns.

- Relevant teaching qualifications or significant tutoring experience.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and their families.

- A flexible and adaptive approach to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Why Join Smart Education?

- Competitive rates of pay, with flexibility to match your experience.

- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils who need it most.

- Supportive team environment with ongoing professional development opportunities.

- Flexibility to manage your own schedule and work independently.
