Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to work with a Lincolnshire-based NHS Trust on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Main Duties:
* Operation of the patient’s tray service, which includes answering telephones, taking orders, checking menus, plating food, lidding meals and loading trolleys prior to service and cleaning after use.
* Setting up and cleaning the Restaurant, and associated areas, and service of meals, to include operation of cash registers, answering telephone, taking orders, preparation of sandwiches, salads, desserts, breakfast items and light snacks, as required.
* Setting up and cleaning after use the central dishwash and associated areas.
* Washing-up of patient and restaurant trays, crockery, and cutlery etc., through the flight dishwashers or by hand.
* Packing, picking and movement of chilled items, and delivery and service of beverages and refreshments as required.
* Recording of temperatures and completion of daily hygiene audits.
* Undertaking stocktakes in own work area and raising requisitions for replacement stock.
Essential Criteria:
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Previous catering experience.
* 5 GCSEs graded A* - C or equivalent.
* Strong communication skills.
* DBS Certificate.
* Onsite working.
