This role is a fantastic opportunity for a capable and driven Analyst to really step up, take ownership of their role and really add value to an impressive organisation.

You will be a key member of the Finance Team, responsible for partnering with the wider business to drive management decisions and financial performance of the relevant manufacturing facilities. This will be achieved through your stewardship and input into key processes including forecasting, costing, business controls and performance reporting.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst, your duties & responsibilities will include:

•  Integrated Business Planning – support your business partners by owning aspects of the rolling forecasting process and partnering with key stakeholders to make decisions and document business plans.
•  Business Partnering - work closely with all functions and non-finance individuals to complete business and financial processes while provisioning them with reporting, insightful analysis and recommendations
•  Reporting – Responsible for regular KPI and variance reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Present and review reporting with relevant stakeholders in regular weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings.
•  Inventory reporting – set up insightful analysis and support the Head of Supply and site management team in reviewing and improving the inventory profile.
•  Costing system - modelling and maintenance – continuously review and improve the site costing model to update business systems ensuring costs are allocated based on cost drivers and represent the actual costs relevant to the site.
•  Projects - supporting the Financial Controller and site management teams by contributing to or leading projects.

Skills & Experience Required:

•  CIMA or ACCA – early or part qualified and studying towards a professional qualification
• Analytical background (desirable)
•  Demonstrable experience working with non-finance employees in a business partnering capacity (desirable)
•  Experience in working in Manufacturing finance and accounting environment (highly desirable)
•  Experience in maintaining standard costing systems, analysing variances and updating business ERPs (desirable)
• System / ERP exposure
•  Experience in creating reporting in Power BI or Tableau analytic tools (desirable)
•  Advanced Excel skills with the ability to extract and interpret key information from large data sets
•  Analytical mindset – able to interpret data and produce meaningful insight
