Salary: Up to £33,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday

Keen to take the jump into the next stage of your career? We are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Technical Assistant to join our client, a leading chilled food manufacturer based in Derbyshire.
You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and take on more responsibilities across the factory. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to advance their career in a new and challenging environment.
About the Role:
As a Technical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across the manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in internal and external audits
* Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
* Upholding compliance with industry regulations and standards
* Carry out relevant assessments of ingredients to evaluate sustainability and compliance.
* Ensure effective traceability of raw materials from receipt to finished product
* Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including BRC and HACCP
* Conduct routine checks and audits to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
* Provide technical support and guidance to the production team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant experience within the food and drink industry, particularly with raw materials, compliance, and QMS
* Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive approach and the ability to take initiative
* Eligibility to permanently work in the UK
