As a Year 6 Teacher, you'll guide pupils through their final year of primary school, preparing them not only for their SATs but for the exciting journey to secondary school. You'll:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, with a focus on English, Maths, and SATs preparation.
Help pupils develop their independence, critical thinking, and resilience as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and encouraged.
Assess and monitor progress, providing feedback that helps pupils grow academically and personally.
Engage with parents and carers to ensure a strong home-school connection, supporting pupil success from every angle.

What We're Looking For:
At least 6 months of teaching experience, preferably in upper Key Stage 2.
A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
A deep understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and the ability to help pupils succeed academically and emotionally.
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
A passion for teaching, a positive attitude, and the resilience to thrive in a busy primary school setting.
