Our client is a large-scale FMCG company based in Bristol. With a wide reach and a strong presence in the market, they are known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Description

The role of Transport Clerk in Bristol will involve:

Running the transport desk by effectively briefing and debriefing drivers.
Ensuring all driver and delivery paperwork is present and completed correctly.
Managing POD paperwork.
Downloading tachographs and monitoring driver hours.
Ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and company policies.
Liaising with the warehouse team.
Meeting and exceeding KPI targets.Working hours:

4-on 4-off shift pattern 6am-6pm

Profile

A successful Transport Clerk should have:

Previous experience working in a busy transport office environment.
Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and procedures.
A solid understanding of WTD/driver hours compliance.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong IT skills, preferably having used TMS and WMS.
A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
